Deze keer met Ivan Peroti!\u00a0 Ricky Koole, Leo Blokhuis en Ivan Peroti gaan op reis naar New Orleans. Zij doen dat met een viermansband en een vijfkoppige blazersgroep. Het theaterprogramma <em>New Orleans<\/em> is dramatisch, informatief, feestelijk en inspirerend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New Orleans de stad die de bakermat is van vele muzikale stijlen, waar feest en rouw hand in hand gaan, waar raciale integratie naast een complex proces ook de vruchtbare voedingsbodem voor ongekende creativiteit is. De stad die zich opricht na Katrina, waar iedere bewoner in een lager gelegen stadsdeel een aangrijpend verhaal heeft, maar waar de marching bands weer door de straten lopen. Met meeslepende blaasmuziek bij een trieste gebeurtenis als een begrafenis, en opgewonden feestelijke klanken als de doden begraven zijn. Jazz, rhythm &amp; blues, soul, rock, cajun, New Orleans is de stad die bruist van de muziek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denk aan muziek van Louis Armstrong, Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Labelle, Fats Domino, Irma Thomas, the Meters en the Rebirth Brass Band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In dit uitbundige programma \u2013 met zeker ook intieme en persoonlijke passages \u2013 werken Blokhuis, Koole en Peroti samen met de blazers van K.O.
